La'Shana Brown, MHA/ED is a native to Detroit, Michigan and has sprinkled a little bit of her talents throughout the nation.  Her passion and purpose is to uplift those that feel they have been forgotten.  Shana Speaks is the motivational leader of La'Shana.  La'Shana has been motivating people through speaking engagements since she was 10 years old.  She made her major debut in the 8th grade when her speech was selected out of a citywide competition and she spoke at the Martin Luther King Convention in Southfield, Michigan in front of 10,000 people.  Shana Speaks was birthed that day!  

 

La'Shana started Embracing the Voice in 2008; which is a non-profit organization geared towards aiding youth in reaching their true authenticity.  After working with thousands of young people through the years, La'Shana realized that most of them wanted to start business, create new concepts and invent things but had no place to start. This is how Embracing the Gift was birth in 2011; designed to aid youth in becoming entrepreneurs.  After finding your authenticity, and establishing a plan to move forward now you must walk in what you are called to be and do.  Embracing the Call was established in 2020 aimed at putting a Stamp on who you are and Owning it.

 

La'Shana is a Mentor, Motivator, Branding Coach, Business Strategist, Leadership Trainer, Executive Functioning Skills Specialist, Master creator and a lover of all things new. La'Shana has a heart and passion for youth that supersedes anything else.  She is carefree, a traveler, a worshiper, and a woman who grabs Life with all it has to offer and Embraces every moment of it. La'Shana believes in embracing her own voice, embracing the gifts and talents she has inside and embracing the call that is on her life!
